Job Summary:
 
NNI is looking for a Full time, highly motivated structural engineer with a minimum 2-3 years of experience to join our team. The Engineer will work on various small to large scale projects with the team and perform other duties as assigned.
 
Structural Engineer will have the following responsibilities at a minimum:
 
• Prepare structural design calculations, analysis models and associated technical drawings.
• Perform structural analysis using well defined analysis to meet building code requirements and design standards & specifications. 
• Review shop drawings for conformance to project requirement. 
• Local site-visits as needed for project construction observation. 
• Collaborate with architects, trade partners, and owners to develop creative and integrated solutions.
• Assume additional responsibilities as assigned. 
 
Job requirements:
 
• BS / MS in structural engineering, or civil engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• FE / PE / SE license or a desire to obtain licensure in the near future.
• Knowledge of the current IBC and other pertinent codes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Preparation of construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details. 
• Skills considered a plus:
         o Proficiency with Revit / AutoCAD.
         o Proficiency with analysis software such as ETABS, RAM, Enercalc etc.
         o Ability to provide creative solutions to complex problems.
